NOVELTY - The sensor has a composite material formed with a polyurethane sponge with graphene from inner side to outer side of a crack nickel film, where thickness of the polyurethane sponge is about 0.5-2 mm and length of the polyurethane sponge is about 15-30 mm. A packaging layer packages the composite material. The packaging layer is arranged with a dimethyl silicone polydimethylsiloxane film, where thickness of the packaging layer is about 0.5-1.5 mm. The dimethyl silicone polydimethylsiloxane film is coated with the polyurethane sponge with the graphene. USE - Flexible strain sensor. ADVANTAGE - The sensor has better stability, and improves sensing performance and sensitivity of the polyurethane sponge with graphene and crack nickel film and tensile property of the dimethyl silicone polydimethylsiloxane film, reduces manufacturing cost and stretchability when the sensitivity is high, simplifies manufacturing process, and ensures conductivity and cycling performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a flexible strain sensor manufacturing method.
