NOVELTY - Thermoelectric conversion material contains (A) at least one conductive material and (B) an organic semiconductor chosen from a carbon material, a metal material and a conductive polymer, where the component (B) has a melting point of 100-200 degrees C and a conductivity of 1x 10-14 to 2x 10-9 S/cm (However, the component (A) excludes the component (B)). USE - The thermoelectric conversion material is useful for preparing a thermoelectric conversion film of a thermoelectric conversion element. ADVANTAGE - The thermoelectric conversion material achieves both Seebeck coefficient and conductivity, exhibits a high power factor, has high thermal cycle resistance that can be used repeatedly and provides the thermoelectric conversion element that exhibits excellent thermoelectric performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a processing method involving heating the thermoelectric conversion material at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of the component (B); and (2) a thermoelectric conversion element comprising a thermoelectric conversion film made of the thermoelectric conversion material and an electrode, where the thermoelectric conversion film and the electrode are electrically connected to each other.
