NOVELTY - An aluminum-based brake friction plate comprises an aluminum substrate and a friction material in mass ratio of 31-51.6:170-235. The aluminum substrate comprises 30-50 parts mass aluminum alloy powder, 0.9-1.3 part mass tungsten carbide, and 0.1-0.3 parts mass titanium diboride powder. The friction material comprises 70-100 parts mass copper powder, 25-30 parts mass iron powder, 10-15 parts mass silicon dioxide, 35-50 parts mass rubber powder, 10-15 parts mass anti-wear agent and 20-25 parts mass filler. USE - Aluminum-based brake friction plate used in mechanical component, brakes and mechanical engineering application. ADVANTAGE - The friction plate does not need a bonding layer, which not only protects the environment, but also simplifies the preparation process, and has high bonding strength between the friction material and aluminum substrate. The friction plate is obtained by optimizing the components of the aluminum substrate and the friction material. The preparation method uses simple and easy-to-obtain raw material and eliminates addition of large amount of reinforcing material such as resin and fiber, and provides friction plate with excellent abrasion resistance, durability and strength.
