NOVELTY - A graphene composite positive temperature coefficient (PTC) material comprises 50-100 pts. wt. polymer matrix material, 15-35 pts. wt. graphene and 1-8 pts. wt. modifier. The modifier comprises abietic acid glyceride and tributyl phosphate in a weight ratio of (5-8):(1-3). USE - Graphene composite positive temperature coefficient material used as coating to be coated on positive electrode current collector or negative electrode current collector of lithium battery. ADVANTAGE - The graphene composite PTC material has excellent thermal cycle stability, uniform heat conduction and small room temperature resistivity rising range. The abietic acid glyceride and polymer matrix are excellent in compatibility. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene composite PTC material, which involves carrying out pre-melting mixing of graphene and modifier, ultrasonically dispersing to prepare pre-mixture, and mixing and stirring the polymer matrix material and pre-mixture.
