NOVELTY - Porous carbon material comprises secondary particles formed by stacking primary particles and a first carbon coating layer located in an outer layer of the secondary particles. The primary particles include a three-dimensional carbon frame and a lithiophilic substance. The three-dimensional carbon frame is formed by connecting carbon material particles. The lithiophilic substance is located inside and on the surface of the three-dimensional carbon frame. USE - Porous carbon material for use in lithium metal battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The porous carbon material makes the metal lithium to be uniformly and effectively deposited in the particle, avoids generation of lithium dendrite, inhibits volume expansion of the pole piece, reduces the large specific surface area of the three-dimensional main body frame itself, and improves the cycle performance and safety performance of the battery. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a preparation method for porous carbon material, which involves: (a) mixing the carbon material, the lithiophilic additive and the solvent to obtain a slurry; (b) spray-drying and granulating the slurry, and sintering once to obtain a precursor; (c) carbon coating the precursor, and secondary sintering to obtain the porous carbon material; (2) a lithium-containing composite, which comprises the porous carbon material, and lithium metal inside the primary particles and inside the first carbon coating layer; (3) a negative electrode, which comprises the porous carbon material and/or the lithium-containing composite, the negative electrode is a lithium-carbon composite negative electrode; and (4) a lithium metal battery, which comprises the negative electrode.
