NOVELTY - The preparation of modified aramid fiber/graphene enhancer, involves cleaning aramid fiber using acetone, drying, irradiating dried aramid fiber with UV light for modification and cutting the irradiated modified aramid fiber into 5-10 mm short fibers to obtain UV irradiation modified aramid fiber, adding UV irradiation modified aramid fiber to KH550 (RTM: 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane) ethanol solution and reacting at 40-80 degrees C for 4-8 hours to obtain KH550 (RTM: 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane) graft modified aramid fiber and adding sodium hydroxide. USE - Preparation of modified aramid fiber/graphene enhancer. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of modified aramid fiber/graphene enhancer with increased strength and improved interfacial bonding ability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation of modified aramid fiber/graphene enhancer, involves (1) cleaning aramid fiber using acetone, drying, irradiating dried aramid fiber with UV light for modification and cutting the irradiated modified aramid fiber into 5-10 mm short fibers to obtain UV irradiation modified aramid fiber, (2) adding UV irradiation modified aramid fiber to KH550 (RTM: 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane) ethanol solution and reacting at 40-80 degrees C for 4-8 hours to obtain KH550 (RTM: 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane) graft modified aramid fiber, (3) adding sodium hydroxide to adjust pH of ethanol solution to 9, adding KH550 (RTM: 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane) graft modified aramid fiber and magnetically stirring at 60-80 degrees C for 12 hours.
