NOVELTY - Flame retardant powder coating comprises 28-32 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 28-32 pts. wt. polyester resin, 5-10 pts. wt. pigment, 30-40 pts. wt. barium sulfate, 0.5-5 pts. wt. titanium dioxide, 2-8 pts. wt. flame retardant, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. flame retardant auxiliary agent, 0.5-2 pts. wt. leveling agent, 0.5-1 pts. wt. bentonite and 0.01-0.05 pts. wt. curing accelerator. USE - Used as flame retardant powder coating. ADVANTAGE - The coating has long high-temperature baking time, heat insulation, and non-flammability, can improve the flame resistance of the material and slows down the propagation speed of flame combustion, and achieves the flame retardant effect, gaining time for heat fighting work and reduces heat losses. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for: a method for preparing the powder coating, comprising adding the components into the premixer according to the proportions, and uniformly mixing to obtain a mixture, passing the mixture uniformly into a sheet through a pair of rollers with cooling water using twin-screw or single-screw extruder, roughly crushing extruded materials uniformly to ensure the size of the crushed pieces is similar, and grinding crushed pieces into powder, sieving and classifying.
