▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Refractory material comprises 0-0.20 wt.% reduced graphene oxide, 5.80-10 wt.% flaky graphite, 2 wt.% aluminum (Al) metal powder, 0.5 wt.% silicon (Si) metal powder, 3 wt.% liquid resol resin, 0.2 wt.% boron carbide and the remaining portion being fused magnesia having different grain size. USE - Refractory material for steel making steel ladle application area (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The refractory material has reduced graphene oxide that has natural advantage of very high surface area which help in better distribution in the matrix. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process for preparing refractory material comprising, which involves mixing fused magnesia grains of different size fractions with the graphite, aluminum metal powder, silica metal powder and boron carbide to form a mixture, adding liquid resin to the mixture, preparing separately an admixture of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) and dust of fused magnesia and adding the same to the existing mixture to form the refractory material.
