NOVELTY - Device comprises substrate on which a nanogroove is formed, graphene nanoribbon located on the substrate, electrode for current application connected respectively to both end portions of the graphene nanoribbon, and an electrode for voltage application connected to the lower portion of the substrate. USE - The device is useful for sequencing DNA using graphene nanoribbons (claimed) and analyzing base sequence of DNA. ADVANTAGE - The device is rapid, specifically and accurately decodes information of heredity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for sequencing DNA, which involves using the above-mentioned device, applying bias voltage between both electrodes of the graphene nanoribbons, applying alternating current to a gate voltage, towing DNA to be analyzed, detecting current in real-time, and analyzing relation between the current of the graphene nanoribbon and gate voltage.
