NOVELTY - Silicon composite material includes silicon-lithium silicate composite material and modified polyimide coating layer coated on silicon-lithium silicate composite material. The modified polyimide is lithium-ion doped polyimide. USE - Silicon composite material for use in lithium-ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The silicon/lithium silicate composite material is prepared by simple mechanical ball milling, and has low energy consumption, cost-effective, environmental protection, simple preparation process, industrial production and high degree of practicality DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. a method for preparing silicon composite material, which involves: (a) performing ball milling on the silicon monoxide, the lithium hydroxide and the mixed solution under protective atmosphere to obtain a silicon/lithium silicate composite material; (b) mixing the silicon/lithium silicate composite material, a polymer monomer and a solvent containing lithium salt; (c) performing polymerization reaction;(d)performing spray drying; and (e) heating curing to obtain the silicon composite material; and 2. a lithium-ion battery, which comprises: a positive electrode and a negative electrode, where the negative electrode includes a silicon composite negative electrode material, the silicon composite negative electrode material includes the silicon composite material or the silicon composite material prepared by the preparation method.
