NOVELTY - Tubular graphene aerogel comprises carbon tubes, where the diameter of the carbon tubes is 2-100 mu m. USE - The tubular graphene aerogel is used in sensors, oil-water separation, heat preservation, and catalysis (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preparation method is simple, does not requires reduction, avoids graphene agglomeration, uses cheap raw materials, and meets the requirements of large-scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the tubular graphene aerogel, comprising contacting a carbon source with a template substrate in an inert atmosphere, performing chemical vapor deposition, fixing the structure, removing the template substrate, and high-temperature processing to obtain the tubular graphene aerogel, where the template substrate is inorganic salt fiber.
