▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Manufacture of high temperature composite involves (i) forming a precursor component from a resin (A) containing a poly(aryl ether ketone) copolymer containing at least two different repeating units in which one of the repeating units is present in an amount of 50-78 mol% with respect to total amount of the repeating units, and at least one reinforcing material, (ii) pyrolizing the precursor component to form a pyrolyzed component, (iii) infusing a liquid resin (B) into the pyrolyzed component to form an infused component, and (iv) pyrolizing the infused component to form the high temperature composite, and optionally repeating steps (iii, iv) for one or more times. USE - Manufacture of high temperature composite e.g. carbon-carbon composite, carbon ceramic matrix composite and carbon silica composite (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to hypersonic, solid/liquid rocket propulsion, defense/aerospace applications, metal and glass processing and concentrating photovoltaic. ADVANTAGE - The method produces high temperature composite having excellent mechanical property.
