NOVELTY - A pressure-free sintered high-toughness silicon carbide comprises 96-98 pts. wt. silicon carbide, 0.8-1.2 pt. wt. boron carbide, 1-3 pts. wt. graphene, 0.6-0.8 pt. wt. dispersant, 4-6 pts. wt. binder, 5-7 pts. wt. phenolic resin, 0.8-1.2 pt. wt. lubricating fluid and 90-110 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - Pressure-free sintered high-toughness silicon carbide. ADVANTAGE - The pressure-free sintered high-toughness silicon carbide has fracture toughness of 20% higher than that of existing pressure-free sintered silicon carbide, and is prepared by easy and simple preparation method.
