NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-based salt spray resistant coating comprises (1) adding aqueous epoxy emulsion and wetting agent to the reaction kettle and stirring for 40-45 minutes, (2) adding melamine to the amino silicone oil emulsion, heating to reflux under the protection of inert atmosphere to obtain an intermediate, (3) introducing carbonyl group into graphene to obtain a graphene precursor and (4) adding intermediate, graphene precursor, pigment and leveling agent to the reaction kettle in the step (1), heating and stirring to obtain a graphene-based salt spray resistant coating. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-based salt spray resistant coating. ADVANTAGE - The coating: is non-toxic, non polluting and water resistant; and has long-lasting corrosion resistance.
