NOVELTY - A graphene supported nano cobaltous oxide preparing method involves adding cobalt carbonyl source (1-10 mmol) with dioxane solution (10-500 ml), in a vacuum glove box, followed by stirring and dispersing for 1-120 minutes, by a magnetic stirrer in the vacuum glove box. Graphene powder (5-200 mg) is added to dioxane solution (10-500 ml). The obtained cobalt carbonyl solution is mixed with the obtained graphene solutions. Anhydrous ethanol is added to the obtained reaction product followed by centrifugal separation and heat treatment to obtain a finished product. USE - Method for preparing graphene supported nano cobaltous oxide for use in lithium-ion battery anode material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparing cobaltous oxide in mild reaction condition with simple preparation process and repeatability, and is suitable for industrial production. Graphene powder (5-200 mg) is added to dioxane solution (10-500 ml) and ultrasonically dispersed for 1-120 minutes in presence of protective atmosphere. The obtained cobalt carbonyl solution is mixed with the obtained graphene solutions in ultrasound reaction. Anhydrous ethanol is added to the obtained reaction product followed by centrifugal separation, vacuum drying and heat treatment to obtain a finished product.
