NOVELTY - Preparation of ceramic material having spiral microstructure involves adding graphene oxide to deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing, adding silicon carbide and zirconium boride, stirring for 10-15 hours, adding 0.5-3 %mass polyvinyl alcohol solution, stirring for 10-15 hours to obtain a slurry, placing the carbon fiber unidirectional cloth after spreading yarn on the sand core filter device, adding the slurry, suction filtering to obtain layered carbon fiber/ceramic green material containing graphene oxide, cutting the green material into desired shape, placing in cylindrical graphite mold in a horizontally stacked form, where the direction of the fiber bundle of each green material is at an angle of 5-40 degrees counterclockwise or clockwise to the direction of the fiber bundle of the previous green material, and performing discharge plasma sintering at 1700-1900 degrees C under a pressure of 30-50 MPa for 3-10 minutes in an vacuum or argon inert atmosphere. USE - Preparation of ceramic material having spiral microstructure. ADVANTAGE - The method produces ceramic material having spiral microstructure with improved fracture toughness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of ceramic material having spiral microstructure involves adding graphene oxide to deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing, adding silicon carbide and zirconium boride, stirring for 10-15 hours, adding 0.5-3 %mass polyvinyl alcohol solution, stirring for 10-15 hours to obtain a slurry, placing the carbon fiber unidirectional cloth after spreading yarn on the sand core filter device, adding the slurry, suction filtering to obtain layered carbon fiber/ceramic green material containing graphene oxide, cutting the green material into desired shape, placing in cylindrical graphite mold in a horizontally stacked form, where the direction of the fiber bundle of each green material is at an angle of 5-40 degrees counterclockwise or clockwise to the direction of the fiber bundle of the previous green material, and performing discharge plasma sintering at 1700-1900 degrees C under a pressure of 30-50 MPa for 3-10 minutes in an vacuum or argon inert atmosphere. The volume ratio of graphene oxide, zirconium boride, silicon carbide and polyvinyl alcohol is 5-20:30-70:10-30:0.5-2.5 The graphene oxide in the slurry has concentration of 2-6 mg/ml. The carbon fiber unidirectional cloth after spreading yarn has thickness of 10-50 mu m. The volume ratio of graphene oxide in the carbon fiber to slurry is 10-40:5-20.
