NOVELTY - Preparation of lithium battery pole piece involves crushing spherical lithium cobalt oxide to obtain small particle lithium cobaltate, mixing first polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) glue solution, first conductive agent and small particle lithium cobalt oxide to obtain first lithium cobaltate coating slurry, coating first lithium cobaltate coating slurry on aluminum foil to obtain first lithium cobaltate coating, subjecting aluminum foil coated with first lithium cobaltate coating slurry to first drying to obtain primary pole piece, mixing second PVDF glue solution, second conductive agent and conventional particle lithium cobalt oxide to obtain second lithium cobaltate coating slurry, coating second lithium cobaltate coating slurry on primary pole piece to obtain second lithium cobaltate coating, performing second drying on primary sheet coated with second lithium cobaltate coating slurry to obtain secondary pole piece, and rolling secondary pole piece for first time and second time. USE - Preparation of pole piece used for lithium battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The small particle lithium cobaltate has large specific surface area, which is good for uniformly distributing the PVDF glue solution and conductive agent. The method provides lithium battery pole piece having improved compact density and flexibility. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for lithium battery pole piece, which includes lithium cobaltate coating layer and aluminum foil piece, where the lithium cobaltate coating is coated on the surfaces of the two side faces of the aluminum foil piece.
