NOVELTY - Preservation of a reactive active compound, involves encapsulation of active compound by a surrounding shell layer in a first liquid, contacting the active compound in a second liquid that is substantially immiscible with the first liquid, forming an emulsion containing the first liquid and the second liquid, and encapsulating the emulsion by a solid shell layer, where both the first liquid and the shell layer are hydrophilic and the second liquid is hydrophobic. USE - Method used for preservation of a reactive active compound in a capsule (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The preservation method provides capsule that has water-insoluble pigments, ultr-violet-absorbing or reflecting pigments. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a capsule, which comprises a core encapsulated in a shell layer, where the core comprises a liquid containing an active compound in that the liquid comprises an emulsion of a first liquid and a second liquid, the first and second liquid being substantially immiscible with one another and the first liquid comprises the active compound, where the core that comprises the emulsion is surrounded by a solid shell layer, where the first liquid is hydrophilic, where the second liquid is hydrophobic, and where the shell layer is hydrophilic; and (2) a formulation, which comprises a fluid material like a cream, lotion, gel, serum, cleanser, soap, shampoo, oil or clay that comprises a cosmetic, pharmaceutical, nutritious or organoleptic active compound, characterized in that the fluid material comprises a multiple of capsule emulsion comprise a hydrophilic first liquid and a hydrophobic second liquid that are immiscible with one another, containing the active compound in the first liquid, confined within a hydrophilic solid shell layer.
