NOVELTY - Butyl hot melt adhesive composition comprises independently stored or mixed components including butyl rubber, modified butyl rubber, phosphated graphene, thermoplastic elastomers, tackifiers, plasticizers, reinforcing agents, coupling agents, antioxidants and light stabilizers. The composition specifically comprises 100 pts. wt. butyl rubber, 30-60 pts. wt. modified butyl rubber, 10-50 pts. wt. phosphorylated graphene, 10-100 pts. wt. thermoplastic elastomer, 40-100 pts. wt. tackifier, 30-120 pts. wt. plasticizer, 20-100 pts. wt. reinforcing agent, 2-15 pts. wt. coupling agent, 2-15 pts. wt. antioxidant, 2-15 pts. wt. light stabilizer. The modified butyl rubber is from chlorobutyl rubber and bromobutyl rubber. The thermoplastic elastomer is a thermoplastic elastomer containing styrene structural units. USE - The butyl hot melt adhesive composition is useful in waterproof building material e.g. roofing material, flooring material and roofing tiles. ADVANTAGE - The butyl hot melt adhesive composition: has high flame retardant property and cohesion strength, at the same time, it can keep good hot melting property.
