NOVELTY - The collector has a first conductive layer formed on a side surface of a polymer substrate. A first conducting layer and a second conducting layer are formed on opposite two side surfaces of the substrate. The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer partially cover or completely cover the surface of the polymer substrate, where extension rate of the polymer substrate is marked and thickness of the polymer substrate. Thickness of the first conductive layer and the second conductive layer are obtained. The polymer substrate comprises conductive additive. The carbon-based conductive material comprises carbon nano tube, graphene, graphite, acetylene black and amorphous carbon. USE - Composite current collector for an electrode pole piece of a battery in a terminal (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to an electric automobile, an electronic device such as mobile phone, flat computer and energy storage device. ADVANTAGE - The collector achieves that the extension rate and the thickness of the conductive layer satisfy certain proportion relationship by adjusting the thickness of the polymer substrate, improves bonding force between the conductor layer and the substrate and structure stability of a main body and safety of the battery effectively, avoids a battery generating internal short circuit when the battery is pressed, collision or puncture to effectively ensure safety performance and energy density of the battery, utilizes a battery electrode pole piece in the battery, which is effectively for improving safety and energy densities of the battery, and ensures safety and energy density of the battery.
