NOVELTY - A graphene polymer electrochemical sensor includes carbon-based electrode, where the surface of the carbon-based electrode is modified with composite material, and the composite material is formed by composite of graphene and polyarginine. USE - Graphene polymer electrochemical sensor used in electrochemical polymerization of catalytic p-nitrophenol and in detection of p-nitrophenol (all claimed), used for preparation of disposable pNP test strips, and used for long-term continuous monitoring of pNP, in electrochemical processing application, nano materials and analytical chemistry. ADVANTAGE - The graphene polymer electrochemical sensor has low detection limit, wide linear detection range, high selectivity and excellent stability for pNP electrochemical detection. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: 1. method for preparing graphene polymer electrochemical sensor, which involves performing primary electrochemical treatment on carbon-based electrode to synthesize graphene on the surface of carbon-based electrode, and performing secondary electrochemical treatment on carbon-based electrode on which graphene is synthesized on surface, so that arginine is condensed into polyarginine, and making polyarginine compound with graphene; and 2. electrochemical detection method of p-nitrophenol, which involves utilizing graphene polymer electrochemical sensor as working electrode, and immersing working electrode in test solution containing p-nitrophenol for electrochemical detection.
