NOVELTY - The device has a purifying composition unit (10) provided with a photo-catalytic material and an adsorption material. A light guide assembly (20) is used for guiding a light generated by a light source to the photo-catalytic material, such that the photo-catalytic material purifies the pollutant in an environment and the pollutant absorbed by the adsorption material, where the adsorption material comprises porous carbon material, molecular sieve, modified molecular sieve, silica gel, modified silica gel, and multiple metal organic framework, and the porous carbon material comprises multiple active carbon, graphite, graphene, carbon gas gel carbon, artificially synthesized carbon. The purifying composition unit is fixed on a composition carrier i.e. porous carrier or a gas-permeable carrier, where the material of the composition carrier is organic polymer material, metal material, and inorganic non-metal. USE - Air purifying device for use in an air conditioner (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The device has better use effect. The light guide assembly is used for guiding the light generated by the light source to the photo-catalytic material, such that the photo-catalytic material purifies the pollutant in the environment and the pollutant absorbed by the adsorption material without opening any light source for exciting the photo catalytic material.
