NOVELTY - Sealing sebum comprises 80-90 pts. wt. base oil, 10-20 pts. wt. thickener, and 0.1-3 pts. wt. modifier, where the thickener does not contain benzoic acid and/or lithium-based lubricating grease, the thickener comprises ethylene glycol, stearic acid complex titanium soap, fiber, and/or mica sheet, and the modifier does not contain nano-cerium dioxide and/or isobutylene sulfide. USE - The sealing sebum is useful for shield machine (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The sealing sebum: is environment-friendly; has good friction reduction, good wear resistance, and high dropping point; utilizes degradable raw materials; and does not generate toxic substances during production and use. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the sealing sebum, comprising (i) adding ethylene glycol, stearic acid, titanium isopropoxide and natural fiber into the mixed base oil, and heating at 70-90°C for 0.6-1.5 hours, (ii) adding distilled water, and gradually heating the mixture at 210-240°C, (iii) preparing the mixture of modifier and base oil, (iv) adding the mixture obtained in step (iii) to the product of step (ii), (v) cooling the mixture prepared in step (iv) to room temperature and stopping stirring to obtain a crude product, and (vi) homogenizing the crude product to obtain the refined product.
