NOVELTY - An aqueous electrolyte comprises water as solvent, zinc sulfate as solute, and additives comprising one or more of MEP (1-methyl-1-ethyl pyrrolidine bromide) and MEM (N-methyl-N-ethyl morpholine bromide). USE - Electrolyte used in zinc ion hybrid supercapacitor and zinc ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The electrolyte additive agent can significantly reduce the polarization, level the zinc negative electrode deposition morphology and improve the rate capability of the battery by adding a small amount to commonly used inorganic zinc sulfate electrolyte. When it is applied in zinc ion hybrid supercapacitors or zinc ion batteries, it can effectively improve their high-rate capabilities, and make them run smoothly and steadily under high electric current. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for use of electrolyte in zinc ion hybrid supercapacitor.
