NOVELTY - Medium temperature organic phase change heat storage material comprises 60-97 pts. wt. sugar alcohol, 2-10 pts. wt. nucleating agent and 0.5-3 pts. wt. heat conducting agent. USE - Used as medium temperature organic phase change heat storage material. ADVANTAGE - The material: is environmentally friendly, has high enthalpy value of 250 J/g, stable heat release of not less than 8%, degree of subcooling of not less than 10 degrees C, good cycleability, simple preparation process, and saves operation manpower. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing medium temperature organic phase change heat storage material comprising (1) placing sugar alcohol of the above ratio in a container and heating to 20 degrees C above its melting point, and heating until it melts completely, and thermally insulating, (2) adding nucleating agent in the above proportion to the melted sugar alcohol, thermally insulating, and adding nucleating agent to melt, stirring for 10-15 minutes, adding heat-conducting agent in the above ratio, and stirring for 10-15 minutes, stirring mixture, cooling, taking out mixture and placing in a fixed mold, and cooling to form a solid intermediate temperature organic phase change heat storage material, and (3) heating prepared solid intermediate temperature organic phase change heat storage material to 160-180 degrees C to melting, maintaining for 5 minutes after product is completely melting, cooling under natural conditions, using thermocouple to record temperature change of the product until the material is completely solidifying, repeating above test steps, performing multiple heat storage and release tests, and observing cycle stability.
