NOVELTY - A mesoporous graphene foam comprises more than 70% of sp2 hybridized carbon structure which is 5-100 nm of 1-3 graphene layers of sp2 covalent bond and sp3 covalent bond to form a nonplanar geometric configuration of not greater than 20 nm three-dimensional carbon foam structure. The mesoporous graphene foam three-dimensional shape is hexagonal, cubic, and square. The mesoporous graphene foam carbon hydrogen ratio is not less than 10. The carbon-oxygen ratio is not less than 19. USE - Mesoporous one graphene foam useful as batteries and supercapacitors electrode materials. ADVANTAGE - The mesoporous graphene foam has excellent electrical properties and increased stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of mesoporous graphene foam comprising: (A) placing magnesium oxide white powder into a reactor, and raising to 700-1200 degrees C under the protection of argon gas or nitrogen protection atmosphere; (B) reacting hydrocarbon source at 700-1200 degrees C, controlling the total velocity of the carbon source and pressure at 1-40 kPa, where the carrier gas is argon gas or nitrogen gas, and the carbon material is at 3 seconds-30 minutes, for the product in the fluidized bed, switching the gas to nitrogen, controlling the air speed in the fluidized bed at 0.003-0.8 m/s, after finishing reaction, naturally reducing to less than 200 degrees C, and taking out the sample to obtain magnesium oxide product; and (C) soaking magnesium oxide product in acid solution or hot water, processing between room temperature and 90 degrees C for 24 hours, filtering and drying or freezing and drying or supercritical drying at 60-120 degrees C, and then in the atmosphere of hydrogen or carbon dioxide at 300-1500 degrees C, processing for 10 minutes-5 hours, drying under the protection of argon atmosphere, and cooling to room temperature to obtain the mesoporous graphene foam.
