NOVELTY - Synthesizing graphene oxide involves sequentially adding graphite powder, concentrated sulfuric acid, sodium nitrate, potassium permanganate, and grinding in a device having grinding function under room temperature conditions, where amount of concentrated sulfuric acid is 5-20 times of the amount of graphite powder. The material is changed from viscous to powder, slowly addin appropriate amount of water, and continue grinding until the color of the material changes from dark green to yellowish brown. The concentration of hydrogen peroxide is 30% until the material turned bright yellow, and the graphene oxide solution is obtained by washing and stripping. USE - Method for synthesizing graphene oxide. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to synthesize graphene oxide in mild reaction condition.
