NOVELTY - Preparation of zinc-nickel cell cathode material comprises mixing zinc oxide, reducing agent and graphene oxide in water, mixing uniformly, and hydrothermally treating for 10-18 hours at 80-200 degrees C. The mass ratio of zinc oxide, reducing agent and graphene oxide is 60-120:1-2:1-5. USE - Method for preparing zinc-nickel cell cathode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enhances electronic conductivity of zinc oxide, prevents zinc oxidation corrosion, keeps structure stability of material, and improves cycle life of battery. The battery is capable of high rate discharge.
