NOVELTY - Thermosetting styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) modified asphalt binder toughened by graphene oxide includes component A and component B' with mass ratio of 100:228.4-429. The component A is epoxy resin, and component B' comprises 135-280 pts. wt. SBS modified asphalt, 80-100 pts. wt. curing agent, 5-20 pts. wt. curing accelerator, 0.4-4 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 3-5 pts. wt. coupling agent, 5-20 pts. wt. aromatic oil. USE - Thermosetting SBS modified asphalt binder toughened by graphene oxide used in paving steel bridge decks, urban viaducts, cement concrete bridge deck, tunnels and expressways in waterproof and cohesive layer (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The thermosetting SBS modified asphalt binder toughened by graphene oxide helps in improving toughness of thermosetting SBS modified asphalt; ensures good compatibility between epoxy resin and SBS modified asphalt; improves mechanical strength and toughness.
