NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene modified fluororubber involves carrying out batch emulsion process using fluorinated olefin as a polymerizable monomer, and a modifier graphene dispersion. USE - Preparation of graphene modified fluororubber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, and produces graphene modified fluororubber having improved tensile strength, wear resistance, and air permeability, after vulcanization. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the fluororubber, which involves adding deionized water, pH buffer solution and emulsifier to reaction vessel, mixing, vacuumizing the reaction vessel, adding a portion of the polymerizable monomer, adding graphene dispersion, heating to 70-120 degrees C, continuing to add polymerizable monomer, maintaining the pressure inside the reactor at 0.3-5.0 MPa, adding a free radical initiator to initiate the reaction, adding chain transfer agent and the remaining polymerizable monomer during the reaction, maintaining 0.3-5.0 MPa pressure and 70-120 degrees C temperature to obtain an elastomer emulsion, coagulating the obtained emulsion, washing, and drying.
