NOVELTY - Preparation of lubricating oil additive comprises taking graphene preparation residue as raw material; ultrasonic dispersing in distilled water and washing for multiple times until neutral; dispersing the residue in absolute ethyl alcohol or n-butyl alcohol while shaking; adding oleic acid; reacting for 1-3 hours while blending; centrifuging; and separating to obtain the product. USE - Preparation of lubricating oil additive (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method turns the waste of the remaining residue generated by oxidation-reduction method for preparing graphene into treasure. The prepared additive has excellent abrasion resistance.
