NOVELTY - Ytterbium-erbium co-doped ytterbium-erbium/graphene-dicyanocyanamide photocatalyst, is new where the ytterbium:erbium :graphene-dicyanocyanamide is 0.1-0.02:0.01-0.005:1. USE - The ytterbium-erbium co-doped ytterbium-erbium/graphene-dicyanocyanamide photocatalyst is useful in the catalytic degradation of organic dyes e.g. rhodamine B under visible light or near infrared light (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The photocatalytic inhibits the composite of photo-induced carrier, which can effectively improve the energy conversion efficiency, to improve the visible light and near-infrared light catalytic efficiency. using it to degrade the organic pollutant under visible light and near-infrared light irradiation, ytterbium-erbium/graphene-dicyanocyanamide has important practical application value in environmental purification and clean energy production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing ytterbium-erbium co-doped ytterbium-erbium/graphene-dicyanocyanamide photocatalyst comprises (i) mixing melamine, calcined under nitrogen atmosphere to obtain /graphene-dicyanocyanamide, (ii) mixing /graphene-dicyanocyanamide, ytterbium-containing solution and erbium (Iii) ion -containing solution, mixing uniformly under ultrasonic conditions, heating, centrifuging and drying under microwave conditions.
