NOVELTY - Composite material comprises a substrate layer and a bionic desert beetle structure, where the bionic desert beetle structure is arranged on the surface of the substrate layer, the surface of the substrate layer is hydrophobic, the bionic desert beetle structure comprises bionic cactus needle structures, which are hydrophilic, the bionic cactus needle structure is a cone-shaped structure with large upper part and small lower part, and the bionic cactus needle structure comprises spider silk-like spindle structures. USE - As composite material with water vapor barrier function. ADVANTAGE - The material does not require expensive equipment or complicated processes, ensures excellent universality and rich selection of substrates, and is economical and simple in process and wide in application range. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the composite material involving (i) preparing the substrate layer and fixing it on the surface of a three-dimensional (3D) printing panel, where the substrate layer is a hydrophobic substrate layer, and preparing light-curing 3D printing resin by pouring the light-curing 3D printing resin into printing tank, and leaving still, where the light-curable 3D printing resin is a hydrophilic resin raw material, (ii) starting the 3D printer, and completing the light-curing 3D printing of bionic desert beetle, cactus and spider silk-like spindle combination structures on the surface of the substrate layer based on the setting of the printing program in step (i), and (iii) taking out the 3D printed sample completed in the step (ii), washing off the uncured residual resin on the surface, and drying it again to deeply and completely cure to obtain the composite material.
