▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-reinforced sheet molding compound (SMC) composite material comprises mixing graphene, dispersant and additives to obtain a premixed solution, mixing the premixed solution for 0.5-12 hours in a confined pipe, mixing 60-120 pts. wt. unsaturated polyester resin and 3-6 pts. wt. graphene dispersion in high-speed shear mixer, and adding 16-22 pts. wt. curing agent and 2-6 pts. wt. release agent continuously stirring for 5-10 minutes, adding 180-280 pts. wt. inorganic fillers and stirring for 10-15 minutes, and adding 1-5 pts. wt. thickener and stirring until the system temperature reaches 40 degrees C to obtain a resin paste, evenly dispersing glass fiber between the two layers of polyethylene film, applying resin paste on the surface of the polyethylene film, and passing through a winder to form a roll to obtain a sheet molding compound, and curing. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-reinforced sheet molding compound composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method improves mechanical strength, tensile strength, bending strength and impact strength by 45-91%, 35-63% and 35-94%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene-reinforced sheet molding compound (SMC) composite material comprises (i) preparation of graphene slurry as follows: (ia) mixing graphene, dispersant and additives to obtain a premixed solution, where the mass ratio of dispersant and additive is (80-95):(0.1-1), and the mass fraction of graphene in the premixed solution is 0.5-5%, and (ib) mixing the premixed solution for 0.5-12 hours in a confined pipe with a diameter of 0.5-5 cm under the condition that the ultrasonic power is 200-1500W and the pressure is 10-1000bar, and the mass fraction of graphene is 0.5-5% graphene slurry, and (ii) preparation of graphene-enhanced SMC composite materials as follows: (iia) adding 60-120 pts. wt. unsaturated polyester resin and 3-6 pts. wt. graphene dispersion into the high-speed shear mixer and mixing and stirring for 10-20 minutes, and adding 16-22 pts. wt. curing agent and 2-6 pts. wt. release agent continuously stirring for 5-10 minutes, adding 180-280 pts. wt. inorganic fillers and stirring for 10-15 minutes, and adding 1-5 pts. wt. thickener and stirring until the system temperature reaches 40 degrees C to obtain a resin paste, (iib) evenly dispersing the glass fiber between the two layers of polyethylene film, applying the resin paste on the surface of the polyethylene film, and using a pressure roller to fully soak the resin paste and glass fiber, and passing through a winder to form a roll to obtain a sheet molding compound, moving the sheet molding compound to the drying room for curing processing, and obtaining the graphene-reinforced SMC composite material.
