NOVELTY - A nano nickel cobalt oxide/graphene composite material has bamboo-like structure in which mass ratio of graphene with respect to composite is 40% or more. USE - Nano nickel cobalt oxide/graphene composite material used as cathode material for lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The nano nickel cobalt oxide/graphene composite material is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of nano-nickel cobalt oxide/graphene composite material, which involves ultrasonically dispersing oxidized graphite in absolute ethanol, dissolving nickel salt and cobalt salt in anhydrous ethanol in the molar ratio of 1:2, mixing oxidized graphene dispersion with the mixed solution, stirring, adding sodium hydroxide solution to adjust the pH to 13 plus minus 0.1, continuously stirring, hydrothermally reacting at 160-180 degrees C for 16-24 hours, filtering, washing respectively using deionized water and anhydrous ethanol, and freeze-drying resultant material.
