NOVELTY - A carbonyl iron/graphene/polyvinylpyrrolidone composite microwave absorbing material contains carbonyl iron powder core layer, graphene layer wrapped around carbonyl iron powder core layer and polyvinylpyrrolidone layer. The graphene layer material is graphene oxide, reduced graphene or graphene. USE - The carbonyl iron/graphene/polyvinylpyrrolidone composite microwave absorbing material is useful for preparing microwave absorbing sheet (claimed) and in microwave absorption, electromagnetic leakage and electromagnetic shielding application. ADVANTAGE - The carbonyl iron/graphene/polyvinylpyrrolidone composite microwave absorbing material is prepared by simple method, and has excellent electromagnetic wave absorbing ability and action frequency band width. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation method of carbonyl iron/graphene/polyvinylpyrrolidone composite microwave absorbing material, which involves crushing carbonyl iron powder to particle size of 0.5-3 mu m, preparing 4 plus minus 2 mg/ml polystyrene dispersion and 2-8 mg/ml polyvinylpyrrolidone aqueous solution, graphene dispersion, graphene oxide dispersion and reduced graphene dispersion to obtain carbonyl iron powder, reacting carbonyl iron powder with graphene dispersion and polyvinylpyrrolidone aqueous solution to obtain magnetic precipitate and then drying, where the mass ratio of carbonyl iron powder, graphene dispersion liquid and polyvinylpyrrolidone aqueous solution is 1:(100 plus minus 10):(10 plus minus 2).
