NOVELTY - Preparing highly dispersed cerium-carbon nitride-urea-nitrogen material by coordination process involves putting solid cerium nitrate hexahydrate and urea into absolute ethanol to obtain first dispersing and second dispersion respectively dissolving completely, dropping slowly the obtained first dispersion into the obtained second dispersion, stirring to obtain the third solution, putting the solid graphene carbon nitride (g-C3N4) into absolute ethanol, stirring uniformly to obtain fourth dispersion, dropping slowly the obtained third solution into the obtained fourth dispersion, heating in a water bath, stirring to obtain a solid, putting the obtained solid in a porcelain boat, placing the porcelain boat in a tube furnace, calcining in a nitrogen (N2) atmosphere, and cooling to room temperature after completion to obtain a catalyst cerium-carbon nitride-urea-nitrogen (CeCN-urea-N2). USE - Method for preparing highly dispersed cerium-carbon nitride-urea-nitrogen material by coordination process used in photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and the raw material is cheap. The prepared material has strong practicability and high environmental stability, and has potential application prospect in the photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide.
