▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Formation of porous graphene layer involves providing a catalytically active substrate to catalyze the graphene formation under chemical vapor deposition conditions, where the catalytically active substrate on its surface is provided with several catalytically inactive domains including nanostructure which is corresponding to the shape of the pores in the resultant porous graphene layer, and performing a chemical vapor deposition by using a carbon source in the gas phase and forming the porous graphene layer on the surface of the catalytically active substrate, where the pores in the porous graphene layer is formed in-situ due to the presence of the catalytically inactive domains. The catalytically active substrate comprises a copper-nickel alloy substrate comprising 98 to less than 99.96 wt.% copper and 0.04-2 wt.% nickel. The graphene layer has a thickness of less than 100 nm. The pores has an average width of 1-1000 nm. USE - Formation of porous graphene layer used as semipermeable membrane in textile and apparel application and used for providing water barrier in electronics and/or mobile device (all claimed). Uses include but are not limited to jacket, trousers, glove and hats. ADVANTAGE - The method enables formation of porous graphene layer having enhanced vapor transmission through the pores, high porosity, and excellent mechanical rigidity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the graphene layer.
