NOVELTY - Magnetoelectric gel comprises 15-85 wt.% cobalt ferrite, and 15-85 wt.% reduced graphene oxide. USE - Used as magnetoelectric gel. ADVANTAGE - The magnetoelectric gel: has good microwave absorption performance, large reflection loss and absorption bandwidth. The method: is simple; and adopts easily available raw materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing magnetoelectric gel comprising (1) mixing and stirring solid raw materials in water, and then performing stirring until the solution is clear, carrying out reaction by the water bath heating method to obtain an orange precursor solution, (2) centrifuging orange precursor mixture solution and collecting orange centrifugal product, repeatedly washing orange centrifugal product with deionized water and ethanol, and then drying orange centrifugal product to obtain the iron-cobalt-metal-organic framework precursor, (3) placing graphene oxide powder in deionized water, and then performing ultrasonic work in an environment of 10-20 degrees C for 1-3 hours to obtain a brownish yellow graphene oxide aqueous solution, (4) mixing iron-cobalt-metal-organic framework precursor and the graphene oxide aqueous solution, shaking, and then reacting in an oven at 95 degrees C for 5 hours to obtain iron-cobalt-metal-organic framework/reduced graphene oxide gel, (5) placing iron-cobalt-metal-organic framework/reduced graphene oxide gel in aging solution for 24 hours, then freezing at -20 degrees C to 80 degrees C for 12-24 hours, taking out and drying in a freeze-drying equipment for 12-72 hours to obtain iron-cobalt-metal-organic framework/reduced graphene oxide aerogel, and (6) placing iron-cobalt-metal-organic framework/reduced graphene oxide aerogel in a tube furnace, and under the protection of the atmosphere, heating to 600-900 degrees C at a heating rate of 1-5 degrees C/minutes for 1-3 hours, and then cooling to obtain cobalt ferrite/reduced graphene oxide composite aerogel.
