NOVELTY - An anode material comprises secondary particles (41) having a porous matrix material in which primary particles (41) are arranged. The primary particles contain at least one of the materials chosen from silicon, silicon oxide, graphite, graphene, phosphorus, silicon nitride or hard carbon. The secondary particles are surrounded by an ion-conducting protective layer (44). USE - Anode material used for solid-state battery (claimed) used as power source for electric vehicle and hybrid electric vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The anode material provides battery having excellent stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a solid-state battery (10), which comprises an anode (4) comprising the anode material, a cathode (2), and at least one solid electrolyte (3).
