NOVELTY - A metal oxide/carbon intercalated two-dimensional composite material is used in cathode material of lithiumion battery. USE - The metal oxide/carbon intercalated two-dimensional composite material is used for cathode of lithium ion battery, particularly soft packaged lithium battery, cylindrical lithium battery, button lithium battery or all-solid lithium battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material embeds carbon nanosheet which greatly improves thermal conductivity, physical stability, charging and discharging speed, safety, and cyclic stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of metal oxide/carbon intercalated two-dimensional composite material comprising performing intercalation reaction or surface modification reaction of metal oxide two-dimensional material and organic matter containing amino by metal oxide two-dimensional material layer or surface of organic molecular layer, performing carbonization treatmen, and polymerizing; (2) a lithium ion battery cathode comprises metal oxide/carbon intercalated layer two-dimensional composite material and/or retreated metal oxide/carbon intercalated two-dimensional composite material; and (3) lithium ion battery comprising metal oxide/carbon intercalated two-dimensional composite material and/or cathode.
