NOVELTY - Preparing high quality graphene comprises (i) adding natural graphite powder to reactor filled with ammonia gas, (ii) adding sodium metal and liquid ammonia into reaction vessel of step (i) to obtain mixed liquid, (iii) heating the reaction vessel of step (ii) until the liquid ammonia is evaporated to obtain sodium intercalated graphite powder, (iv) adding the sodium intercalated graphite powder into stripper and adding water to reacting, and (v) washing the material obtained in step (iv) with water, filtering and drying to obtain graphene product. USE - The method is useful for preparing high quality graphene. ADVANTAGE - The method: utilizes natural graphite powder as a raw material.
