NOVELTY - Producing spherical aluminum nitride powder comprises (i) preparing a mixed solution by mixing amorphous aluminum nitride powder, flux, and graphene in a solvent, (ii) drying the solvent of the mixed solution to obtain a mixture, and (iii) heat-treating the mixture in a nitrogen atmosphere. In the process, mixing 60-90 pts. wt. flux based on 100 pts. wt. amorphous aluminum nitride powder. USE - The method is useful for producing spherical aluminum nitride powder. ADVANTAGE - The method: achieves separation distance between particles without an additional crushing process which prevents agglomeration of particles; and realizes high sphericity rate and a high filling rate.
