NOVELTY - Preparing binary metal alloy catalyst comprises dispersing conductive carrier in water, adding excessive reducing agent and stirring to fully dissolve to obtain mixed solution A, dissolving noble metal precursor and non-noble metal precursor in water to prepare mixed solution B, gradually adding mixed solution B into mixed solution A, stirring at normal temperature, centrifuging and washing to remove supernatant, drying precipitate product, heat treating in hydrogen argon mixed atmosphere, and reducing temperature to room temperature to obtain the catalyst. USE - The method for preparing binary metal alloy catalyst used in catalysis of electrolytic water hydrogen evolution reaction in the alkaline environment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The binary metal alloy catalyst uses the preparation technique operation program that is simple, environmentally-friendly and pollution-free, low cost, and can realize batch preparation.
