NOVELTY - High flame-resistant attapulgite nanometer composite material, 60-80 pts. wt. modified attapulgite clay, 5-10 pts. wt. graphene, 10-15 pts. wt. sodium bicarbonate, 5-10 pts. wt. sodium alkyl benzene sulfonate, 20-30 pts. wt. inorganic flame retardant, 3-10 pts. wt. dispersant, 30-50 pts. wt. polyacrylamide, 5-10 pts. wt. stabilizing agent, and solvent. USE - Used as high flame-resistant attapulgite nanometer composite material. ADVANTAGE - The material is environment-friendly. The method is simple and easy. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing high flame-resistant attapulgite nanometer composite material, comprising (i) crushing the natural attapulgite clay , passing through 100-200 meshes; adding water, stirring to form the suspension slurry, fully dispersing by ultrasonic taking the upper suspension, centrifuging at 3000 revolutions/minute for 5-10 minutes, allowing to stand and vacuum filtering, placing the filter cake in the beaker, adding methanol, carrying out ultrasound treatment for 10-20 minutes, allowing to stand and filtering and drying to obtain attapulgite clay pretreatment product, (ii) calcining the attapulgite clay pretreated product and then baking in a muffle furnace at 500-800 degrees C for 1-2 hours, cooling and grinding to a particle size of 100-200 meshes, to obtain the heat modified attapulgite clay; (iii) adding polyacrylamide, graphene, sodium bicarbonate, sodium alkyl benzene sulfonate into the reactor, adding water, stirring and reacting for 70-80 degrees C for 1-3 hours, then adding modified attapulgite clay, dispersing agent, stirring uniformly, then placing it in ultrasonic wave in ultrasonic for 10-20 minutes to obtain a mixture; and (iv) adding inorganic flame retardant and stabilizer into the mixture, continuing ultrasonic for 10-20 minutes, vacuum filtering and washing the filter cake, and then drying the cake and grinding to 50-100 meshes to obtain high flame-resistant attapulgite nanometer composite material.
