NOVELTY - A composite additive comprises 1-10 pts. wt. base oil, 6-12 pts. wt. nano-borate, 3-6 pts. wt. copper dialkyl dithiophosphorate, 3-6 pts. wt. copper dialkyldithiocarbamate, 0.5-2 pts. wt. multi-layer graphene, 0.5-2 pts. wt. nanoparticles, 5-15 pts. wt. antioxidant, 10-20 pts. wt. anti-rust agent, 10-20 pts. wt. vulcanized olefin cotton seed oil and 1-5 pts. wt. trimethylolpropane ester. USE - Composite additive is used in base lubricating oil (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite additive improves lubricating performance and service life of the lubricating oil. The uniformly dispersed modified graphene has high-extreme pressure wear-resistance property and high affinity with base oil, such that nano-borate and organic molybdenum form a uniform and strong lubricating film to improve lubrication stability. The addition amount of composite additive to the base lubricating oil is less which is 1%, which can extend the use range of lubricating oil and reduce high-temperature loss. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: 1. preparation of the composite additive, which involves placing the multi-layer graphene and nanoparticles in a high-speed mixer, mixing uniformly, ball-milling to obtain nano-modified graphene, mixing the nano-modified graphene with the base oil, adding nano-borate, copper dialkyl dithiophosphorate and copper dialkyldithiocarbamate to a high-speed disperser, dispersing evenly to obtain mixed oil, adding antioxidant, anti-rust agent, vulcanized olefin cotton seed oil and trimethylolpropane ester to the mixed oil and mixing at 30-60℃ for 1-3 hours; and 2. application of the composite additive in base lubricating oil.
