NOVELTY - Preparing 5-hydroxymethylfurfural by sulfonated graphen solid acid catalytic fructose dehydration, involves contacting ionic liquid and auxiliary agent, adding 0.5-1.5 pts. wt. of sulfonated graphene to 100 pts. wt. of the mixed solvent, and treating in microwave power of 200-800 Watt and for 10-60 minutes. 5-25 pts. wt. of fructose is added to the system, and heated to 100-140 degrees C for 30-180 minutes. The catalyst is recovered by centrifugation after the completion of the reaction. The solution is extracted and distilled to obtain 5-hydroxymethylfurfural. USE - Method for preparing 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare 5-hydroxymethylfurfural in a simple and highly efficient manner that has economic feasibility.
