NOVELTY - Catalytic preparation of graphene comprises reacting copper compound with reducing agent to obtain copper powder; reacting with gaseous carbon source to grow graphene on the copper surface, and catalytic cracking; fast cooling to normal temperature; oxidizing copper compound; and separating, drying graphene, and recycling copper compound. USE - Method for catalytic preparing graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method has simple operation and low cost and uses recyclable catalyst.
