NOVELTY - Preparation of lithium-iron phosphate powder involves chemical substitution and chemical reduction of graphene oxide, copper salt, treatment liquid and water and obtaining lithium-iron phosphate powder having copper/graphene composite layer. USE - Preparation of lithium-iron phosphate powder used for lithium-iron phosphate battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides lithium-iron phosphate powder by simple and economical process without addition of organic solvent, surfactant and reducing and oxidizing agents. The lithium-iron phosphate battery obtained using the lithium-iron phosphate powder has excellent cycle stability and rate discharge performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) lithium-iron phosphate; and (2) lithium-iron phosphate battery, which involves positive and negative electrodes, separator and electrolyte. The positive electrode is obtained using lithium-iron phosphate powder, N-methylpyrrolidone, electroconductive carbon black and polyvinylidene fluoride composition.
