NOVELTY - Preparing hydroxylated graphene epoxy resin anticorrosive coating comprises (a) mixing graphene powder in an aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide, and vanadium pentoxide having a pH of 3-5, stirring, and ultrasonically treating to obtain hydroxylated graphene solution, washing, filtering and freeze-drying to obtain hydroxylated graphene powder, (b) mixing and dispersing the hydroxylated graphene in liquid epoxy resin and epoxy resin solvent, (c) removing epoxy resin solvent and adding epoxy resin curing agent, and (d) testing anticorrosive properties of hydroxylated graphene epoxy resin. USE - The method is useful for preparing hydroxylated graphene epoxy resin anticorrosive coating. ADVANTAGE - The anticorrosive coating: does not show significant corrosion after 1000 hours of salt spray test; has good insulation performance, uniform dispersion and complete structure.
